At times work puts the world in perspective. Too bad humanity can't coexist..
Enjoying a little dead weed flower for breakfast! LOL And of course the weed grows in my vegetable garden. Did I remove it? No. The ant and weed coexist happily.
Solarpunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction that imagines a future where humans coexist harmoniously with nature and technology, integrating them seamlessly into the environment. However, the small mountain town featured in the Solar Punk Series paints a slightly different picture, portraying a sleepy locale largely untouched by historical change, with the exception of the thriving and abundant wildlife that now permeates the surroundings.
The DaD "Positano Cobblestone Pathway" has been used to create the courtyard in this scene, but is a full kit for creating beautiful paths. It is intricately designed and offers a range of texture options. Additionally, the Swank & Co. Love Meter Oak enhances the ambiance of the setting and would also complement various other environments. Both items are available for purchase at their respective main stores.

As AI growes stronger the riffs in the matrix grow stranger. At what point do we wake to the Planet of the Apes only it is not Apes but AI that has humanity in bonds. Old Charlie stole the break handle and the train won't slow down!!!! (prism over the movie Matrix coded box)
Laura spotted this juvenile brown bear first. I never saw it as it was standing perfectly still. It wasn't scared of us at all but neither was it aggressive. We withdrew quietly and calmly and warned the other visitors in the cemetery. We all then left together.
Call it whatever you like; coexistence of past and present, old and new, classic and modern.
Harmony of diversity in everything makes our life experience more valuable and more beautiful.
Have a happy Friday friends, thank you for your visit :)
Male of Northern Bobwhite (Colinus virginianus), Santa Clara Ranch, Texas. Northern Bobwhites are highly social, usually found in groups, or coveys, of 3–20 individuals. They feed in early morning and late afternoon. They coexist peacefully for most of the year, but in the breeding season male bobwhites fight to attract mates. Northern Bobwhites were once a common species in eastern North America, but experienced widespread, sharp declines between 1966 to 2014, up to 4% per year, resulting in a cumulative decline of 85%, according to the North American Breeding Bird Survey.

Step back in time as you stroll along the cobblestone streets of this charming vintage town. In this captivating scene, an old red car sits parked, a relic from a bygone era, while a horse-drawn carriage carries tourists on a leisurely ride. The quaint buildings that line the street add to the nostalgic atmosphere, reminding us of a simpler time. This photo captures the essence of a place where history and modernity coexist in perfect harmony.
Sunrise over the coastal hillside, Iqaluit. Day 3 of the solar new year. The pitched roofs of snow-laden homes catch the first light, while the bay and distant hills hold the last shadows of night. The sky burns orange and violet — a palette of warmth against the cold, a reminder that even in deep winter, color and quiet coexist. This is a moment of stillness, of inhabited resilience.
Nestled in the heart of the Giant Mountains, the traditional Bohemian wooden cottages exude a timeless charm. Their dark timber facades are adorned with delicate white stripes. The steep roofs and extended eaves are typical for this architecture. Wandering through the deep green, lush landscapes, surrounded by this enchanting architecture, felt like stepping into a fairy tale—a world where nature and tradition coexist in perfect harmony. There was something truly magical about the way these cottages blended into the scenery, as if they had always belonged there.
The season in which the yellow flowers, known as broom (Cytisus oromediterraneus), coexist with the last traces of snow doesn't last long. These flowers rise in height as the temperature warms, even covering the mountain summits of the Madrid Sierra with their beautiful yellow color.
Here you can see the north face of La Bola del Mundo, at 7,408 feet or 2,258 m above sea level, rising above Valdesquí ski resort, with the obsolete signal repeater antennas on its summit. Currently, with the digitalization of TV, they only broadcast on certain radio bands.
Photo taken from the area around Peñalara, on a day that was somewhat warm for the mountains, and with haze and suspended dust impairing visibility.

Entropy. "(...)"Chaos and Balance" coexists with us throughout our lives; Many times we find ourselves involved in circumstances that seem to lead us to chaotic situations. For instants life seems to face critical moments, stages that at times seem insurmountable, that is when we must look for an axis that serves as a support, that spiritual path, that inner peace that is gradually returning balance. That is why knowing the laws of nature means knowing the laws of the human being, because we are part of it, so its laws are also our laws.

Oprys x morisii (Orchidaceae) 141 25
Ophrys x morisiiis a natural hybrid orchid resulting from the cross between Ophys bertoloni and Ophrys incubacea.
it is found in regions where the two parent species coexist, particularly in parts of southern Europe.
The hybrid exhibits intermediate floral characteristics, such as a partially curved labellum with variable patterns and coloration.
Like other Ophrys species, it uses mimicry to attract specific pollinators through visual and olfactory cues.
In virtually any location where Apple and eastern Red Cedar trees coexist this colourful fungus can be produced. It is a destructive or disfiguring disease on both the apples and cedars. Apples, crabapples, and eastern red cedar are the most common hosts for this disease and many species of juniper can substitute for the eastern red cedars.

One of the aspects of Japanese people that I find more fascinating and admirable is their almost unique capability of preserving their ancient traditions, costumes, rituals from the “threaten” of time and the way they effortless succeed in making them coexist harmoniously with progress, technology and modernity.
Admiring the elegance and mystery of a Japanese lady wearing a traditional silk kimono in a futuristic building in Tokyo is a scene that still strikes me. But on my latest photographic trip to Japan, I was focusing on contexts and scenes that would represent this “link to the roots” in its most intimate and spiritual way. I visited the Fushimi Inari-Taisha, the head shrine of Inari, with this wish in mind. When I noticed these young ladies entering the endless path of the shrine, wearing beautiful traditional kimonos, I followed them among the crowd ( the shrine is the most visited tourist attraction in the whole country) and hoped that a moment where no one else would be there between them and my camera would come and it did.
I thank you all for your immensely appreciated visits, comments and faves and I hope you like it :-)

"Over 100 million years old, the tortoise has survived the ages and even coexisted with dinosaurs. It is this longevity that partly explains why traces of the tortoise can be found in the myths and legends of the most ancient civilisations around the world. In most of these diverse cultures, the tortoise is depicted as an auspicious animal that brings good luck, wisdom and peace."
"Vieille de plus d’une centaine de millions d’année, la tortue a traversé les âges et même cohabité avec les dinosaures. C’est cette longévité qui explique en partie pourquoi on retrouve des traces de la tortue dans les mythes et les légendes des plus anciennes civilisations à travers le monde. Dans la majorité de ces cultures diverses, la tortue est dépeinte comme un animal de bon augure, qui apporte la chance, la sagesse et la paix."

A pair of Sandhill Cranes have started to coexist with humans to the point that I can get close enough for pics. They are finding so many tasty morsels in the shallows that they are willing to tolerate the proximity of humans. With thousands of acres of wild marsh to escape into, wading birds are not as approachable as they are in urban areas.
