Enjoying the day off of work. You'll notice the picture is blurry, and no it isn't Stone's photography skills, soon after the camera stopped working altogether. Not sure what happened, but it's dead.

Saturday evening November 25, 2011, purchased baccala (dried salted cod). Began rehydrating in multiple changes of water.

The former codfish lugger Creoula was built in 1937, in less than 3 months and now an old lady of 75 years old, she looks as sparkling and young as in her heyday.

Large invertebrates have a very hard time in New Zealand. Introduced mammailian pests, such as rodents and mustelids were introduced from Europe and have really taken advantage of the naivety of the native fauna. These lovely beetles only flourish where the introduced pests are controlled or eradicated.

Easy to get there by Helicopter; a bit more interesting getting off by plane

meatballs, codfish salad, crab fingers (spelled with a "k"), and a bottle of Blanc Pescador.

The 23rd annual Rosenbacchanal, a dinner to benefit Bloomsday, was held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Trinity Center for Urban Life (22nd and Spruce Streets). Rehydrated salted code removed from 72 hours in a caustic solution. This lutefisk is 12 hours after first rinse and soak in fresh water.
