Horizontal color image of discarded fresh coconut shells as litter. The juice is a customary refreshing tropical drink very common in the tropics. Location of shot was Manori, Mumbai, India, rendered photograph

This art is made from old coconutshell bead necklaces pasted onto tiny fat canvases.

I had no idea golden pearls and natural wood could look so good together until I just stumbled upon it :)

Here in a necklace that I made! The wood is actually coconut shell, a sustainable alternative to hardwoods!

Do you look goofy in photographs? It's all about cropping, baby! Here I am modelling my Tribal Constellation wooden necklace :)

Adding a plethora of elegance to your ambiance and having a shell life of over 100 years, the coconut shell craft is considered as the best alternative to daily utensils than those made of ceramics or synthetics

We were greeted by singers and dancers at every port on our cruise aboard Holland America Eurodam

I picked up this crazy frog pendant at Sunday's PS Kensington. It's hand carved from coconut shell and it reminds me so much of the Warner Brothers Dancing Frog that I burst into song every time I look at it.

A wholesome soup bowl - don't you want to just hod and sip in it?

This is Sleetlet a one of a kind handmade greedy goblin doll in polymer clay.

Goblins are very small, malignant, dark-skinned beings, although the term is often used to indicate generically the worst inhabitants of the Kingdom of the Fates. Sometimes they appear in animal forms, which reflects their bestial nature. They are thieves and mascals of the fairies world, the companions of the dead, especially the Eve of All Saints...

In addition, the Goblins are tempting and often use the forbidden fruits of the Kingdom of the Fairies to attract the victims to ruin: "You do not have to look at the Goblins, nor buy their fruits...”

A great way to overcome creative block is to try to come up with as many ideas as you can as quickly as you can! "Wooden Jewelry" has a LOT of meanings :D

Here's me in the middle of coming up with as many ideas for wooden jewelry as I can! Brainstorming is really fun :)

Beautiful container with a polished look and feel

Candle holder with steel base

Rough and rustic appeal - container

A pen holder that stands out. Simple and functional.

The cast of Monty Python's Spamalot and original Pythons Terrys Jones and Gilliam led the crowds assembled in Trafalgar Square to beat New York's previous record and suceeded yesterday to celebrate St, George's day.

In case you are wondering, I did participate, and only pulled my camera up when the orchestra were conducted to skip a verse (hence the coconuts being waved in the air) which was actually one of the Guinnes WR stipulations!

Coconut shells used as bowls for soup and viands and, in the morning, also for coffee! Utensils provided by Cordillera People's Alliance.

Sometimes when we say "bao" (the coconut shell), we are also referring to the head. E.g., "Ang tigas talaga ng bao mo" ("You're really hard-headed!"). Which the CPA has to be, yes?

24th Cordillera Day, Licuan-Baay, Abra

July 22, 2007 (Sunday) - Let this be a lesson for you: Should you spend all of a rainy afternoon at a movie, you can always come home and shoot a coconut shell elephant from the souvenir shelf as a Daily Picture.

This image is in a set called the "Daily Picture Parade". Whereas the focus of my eJournal and images blog is on ideas. Here, I can emphasize places I go by shooting and adding an image each day. I started this in July of 2005. Doing so has reminded me to constantly carry my camera to create a direct record of my personal experiences.
