some shots i snapped of my coco the day after she arrived. she didn't have any clothes yet, so i fashioned a temporary dress out of kleenex [opps!].
i've sent her back to lati to redo her face-up though.. lati didn't give me the eyebrows that i asked for! >,<
I adopted my new pooch Coco last June 2010 from The Lost Dogs' Home.
I popped in to try and find a new buddy as my last pooch had passed away and I needed a new companion.
I was thinking a small dog as I have always had Daschounds or Jack Russells. Wow how did I manage to come home with a 23kg German Short Haired Pointer?
It was those chocolate eyes staring at me and her beautiful chocolate coat.
I went outside to think about it and placed a deposit. I cried as soon as i left the gates. I went straight to the markets bought a new dog lead, collar and food and hightailed it straight back to The Lost Dogs' home to rescue the beautiful Coco.
She now has a loving home and while a little timid at first she now loves the beach and gets lots of pats as she has her daily walk down Swan Street. She is such a joy to have as a pet.
I think there is something about rescue dogs, they give you so much love because deep down they know you have saved them :)
Thank you

Took Coco to the small dog play area at one of the dog parks. Went with a friend and her dog, so Coco had the chance to be challenged on some of her fears (dogs, and more so humans). She did awesome!

The softly scented letter you see here is part of an flower-alphabet that was created by about 40 people under the direction of alphabetician Chank Diesel. An open source OpenType version is in the works, but for now, here is a pretty letter portrait for you.
