Day 19

This is my 365 days project with coco.

Coco with Sophie's (my birdie) scalp. I'm loving her as a brunette, and I'm planning on getting some dark brown/auburn mohair for her!

Coco was also throwing incredible spray, and was surfing in top form during the semi's

Juillet 2017, Coco Beach part en fumée.

Le restaurant Coco Beach a été entièrement dévasté par un incendie.

L'établissement, situé près du Cap de Nice, venait de rouvrir une semaine avant après rénovation. Le personnel et les clients ont été évacués avant l'arrivée des pompiers.

Il n'y a pas eu de blessé.

Environ 300 mètres carrés ont brûlé. Une partie du sentier du littoral, située en bordure de l'établissement, a due être fermée.

Une institution depuis les années 30

Le restaurant Coco Beach, de renommée internationale, a été créé en 1936 par Jean-Baptiste Coco, un négociant en gros d’éponges naturelles. Il était connu pour ses spécialités de poissons grillés et produits de la mer.

Ludovic Attal, le gérant, avait réalisé des travaux d'extension et venait de rouvrir l'établissement le 30 juin dernier. David Faure, autre restaurateur niçois, ami du gérant, touché par cet incendie, lui apporte tout son soutien.

This typography project is a silhouette of Coco Chanel, the first woman fashion designer. She is an inspirational woman of our time and helped to pave the way for woman professionals. Coco did this with elegance and a stoicism unseen in her day. The type making up her outline is all cursive and feminine to emphasize her grace. She was also never seen without numerous strands of pearls and a cigarette in her mouth, which I purposely made extra bold to highlight their presence. All of the writings are famous quotes by Coco Chanel, including her most recognized "A woman should be two things: classy and fabulous."

Coco is my brother's dog who I kidnap frequently. We both love the simple things in life like long walks on the beach. She is endlessly happy and good natured. So fast, many of my photos of her are blurred. I like this one with the reflection and light on the sand.

Coco (foster) at the dog park today. She continues to make some wonderful progress. In my house, she has not only gone from fearful to comfortable...but now she is confident. She is trying to play with Harley, Buster and toys from time to time- and is always happy to chase my fingers. She also has developed an attitude when walking on leash...it is kinda funny.

You can take "Coco Taxis" around Habana. They're basically old mopeds with 3 wheels and a fibreglass body with enough space for 2 people in the back. Maria wasn't too keen on going in one, but we eventually took one from the hotel to downtown Habana.

SONY DSC

This pretty puppy is COCO, a 4-5 month old Pit mix who’s social, outgoing and full of puppy energy! She loves to chase a ball, likes to play with her toys, and is very food-motivated (so will be lots of fun to train). She likes other dogs, though her enthusiastic playstyle might be too much for some :-)

Coco needs an active home where she’ll have the exercise, training and attention all puppies need.

Coco lives in Kennel P10.
