This Cobalt Qube ran the Newted Community site for several years before the hard drive finally died of a hardware conniption. I have also posted a series of images documenting the disassembly and extraction of the hard drive.
MOC: Cobalt Speedster. I've done some blue sports cars before (the Blue Fury, among others), but blue really was the colour I felt fit this one best.

When I saw these gorgeous cobalt blue glass lampwork beads I was hooked at once. They are made by Angelika Schott / Calisto, Munich. The matte finish gives a wonderful touch. I added some clay beads and a pair of earrings, which is completely made of clay.

Ghalamzani is the art of engraving designs on to copper, silver, gold, and brass trays, plates, vases or pitchers. There were lots of porcelain with blue glaze. China was also famous for her Blue and White porcelain. In the early days eg Yuan Dynasty, Chinese Blue and White often came with a tint of grayness - the blueness is not very saturated. Later ones from Ming and Qing Dynasty were much brighter and it would be possible to distinguish different levels of blueness. The glaze used to be very expensive in those days as it came from the Muslim word ( 回青、回回青、蘇麻離青、蘇泥臘青、勃青等). Actually this cobalt-rich blue glaze had been mined near Tehran and in Baluchistan (www.iranicaonline.org/articles/cobalt-sang-a-lajavard-blu... )
Then there is the Khatam-kari or inlaid working, which is the art of decorating the surfaces with small pieces of bone, wood, and brass in different colours.
On a trip to Glacier Bay in Alaska I came across this residents idea of yard adoration. Loved the contrast between the blue and back yellow drop.
