This cobalt glass salt shaker from the Sandwich Glass Museum store, in Sandwich, MA, was a gift from one of my wife's relatives. I love salt on my food, but my blood pressure has creeped up over the years, and I have to give it up for good. This photograph is my farewell to salt - goodbye, old friend, I'll miss you.

NATO Communications and Information Systems Group (NCISG) commander, General Thomas Franz, briefs his officers during Exercise Steadfast Cobalt (SFCT) 2015 in Walcz, Poland.

NATO troops from over 20 countries including Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Belgium, the UK and France have taken part in Exercise Steadfast Cobalt 2015 (SFCT 2015) from the 4th May to 5th June in Walcz, Poland. SFCT 2015 is an Allied Commnd Operation, NATO Response Force (NRF) exercise, designed to serve as a key element in the training and evaluation of NRF 2016 within its certification process by the Commander of Joint Force Command (JFC) Brunssum. There are almost twice the number of participating units as for the same excercise last year.

One of our most priciest ingredients, it's used in all of our blue glazes.

I don't wear my glasses while making glazes, I wouldn't be able to wear the mask if I did. That and they'd get really dusty with some not so nice stuff.

damn. that could very well be my favourite color.

This Cobalt Qube ran the Newted Community site for several years before the hard drive finally died of a hardware conniption. I have also posted a series of images documenting the disassembly and extraction of the hard drive.

I've come to like the Cobalt SS alot! I couldn't miss this, I love the Corvette wheels!

The Elite of the Elite the Cobalt Guard are often spoke about in hushed rumors through out the Cobra organization. Operating in shadows and secrecy no one is sure of thier actual numbers they are trusted with missions of the highest priority.

Saw this on ebay and had to have it.

Just testing out my new 50mm lens again! Autometer Cobalt boost/vac gauge.

Cobalt is known as the Silver Capital of Canada, and is also claimed to be Ontario's most historic town. Silver was discovered in 1908, and the town boasted a population of 20,000 at one point, with the first electric car system north of Toronto, and its own stock exchange. Stock market crash in 1929 spelled the end of the silver rush.

Apparently the official name is Terana caerulea.

Following info taken from Wikipedia.

The Cobalt RaQ 2 is a 1U rackmount server product line developed by Cobalt Networks, Inc. (later purchased by Sun Microsystems) featuring a modified Red Hat Linux operating system and a proprietary GUI for server management. The RaQ 2 systems were equipped with MIPS CPUs.

The Cobalt RaQ2 was the third product line produced by Cobalt Networks; the first was the Cobalt Qube followed by the Cobalt RaQ. The introduction of the Cobalt RaQ2 was a success for the company. Many ISPs purchased and stacked the units in their computer rooms and used the RaQ 2 units to sell dedicated hosting services to their clients.

This unit was replaced by the RaQ3, then RaQ4, then the XTR, which was finally replaced by the RaQ 550 which was then discontinued by Sun Microsystems.

Meu primeiro Mavalinha. <3 <3 <3

MOC: Cobalt Speedster. This started out as an attempt to find out just how long the nose of the car would get if I used those long curved slopes. The answer is 'long'.
