In the dense, green forests deep and wide,
The tiger roams with a regal stride.
Golden coat with ebony streaks,
A silent hunter, power it speaks.
Eyes like embers, sharp and keen,
Gliding through shadows, barely seen.
Each step measured, soft yet strong,
The jungle echoes its haunting song.
Guardian of the wild, fierce and free,
A symbol of nature's majesty.
Through mangroves dense, or grassy plains,
The tiger rules where wildness reigns.
Yet whispers tell of dwindling ground,
Of forests lost, no prey is found.
The king now fights a battle grim,
A world forgetting the need for him.
O mighty tiger, bold and true,
Your roar still calls, we must renew.
Protect the forests, let rivers run,
For life with you and us is one.
Let cubs frolic in twilight's glow,
Let jungles thrive where you bestow.
For when the tiger fades from sight,
The world will dim, robbed of its light.

I really like the Orange and Teal effect - the lighting from the sign and the window allowed it to happen.
Managed a trip to the former Coats Baptist Church in Paisley. Constructed in 1894, in memory of philanthropist Thomas Coats it is now a multi purpose venue. Yesterday it was hosting a wedding fayre. www.coatspaisley.com #paisley #coatsvenue
I have to wear rags but the lens gets a new coat!
The camo pattern breaks up the shape and bulk of the lens. It does a good job,
I can hardly see it and since the bulky shape is broken up the Lens must weigh a lot less !

A quick visit to Atlantic Canada earlier this month left us with a couple of free days to explore - including a visit to Greenwich in Prince Edward Island National Park. The park was devoid of any staff or open facilities, having already closed for the season in the latter part of September. It's too bad they did so as the parking lot had quite a few cars with people coming and going - including visitors looking for "facilities."
I had passed this lone figure on the walkway here some ways back and noticed garment tags hanging off his coat. I asked him if it was a new coat and he looked at me in surprise - no doubt wondering how I knew. We had never seen each other before. I told him about the tags, which he promptly removed and we had a chuckle about it. He had bought the coat that very morning.
As for the photo, this is the second time that we've been here and I still really like the curvy lines in the walkway.

Well, I took the plunge and finally bought in to Lightroom CC. This is my first edit with the new software. It wasn't the best image to start with - I was shooting on the fly as this "Coat Sherpa" zipped by me on his way to return heavier outer jackets to downhill ski racers that had already completed their run. I thought it was a bit different and interesting enough to post.
The trees on Crowder Mountain had on their winter coat yesterday. Well, one did anyway! This was the lone scarlet tree in a sea of bare branches. The green bokeh is from evergreens farther down the path. We got about halfway up the 1 mile backside trail which is rated strenuous. Quite an accomplishment for us!
Huge coat racks inside Linnhall line the east and west walls, and although the long abandoned space is falling apart, the old racks are still clearly visible.
Tallinn's Linnahall is a Soviet era concert and sports venue.
The 1980 Summer Olympics were hosted in Moscow. As inland Moscow had no suitable venue at which to stage the sailing event, this task fell to Tallinn, the capital of the then Estonian SSR. The skating rink closed in 2009, followed by the concert hall in 2010. The city sought investors from 2009 to 2015, and in 2015 the city council decided to renovate Linnahall, although the project did not come to fruition.
Me trying on a marvellous leather swinger coat at a second hand boutique in Erfurt in December last year. The coat was so lovely but with 400,- EUR too expensive for me. Maybe if I find a sugar daddy who likes to buy it for me... ;-)
