Reshaping the eccentric rod.

A bit of 28 mm copper pipe makes a suitable sanding tool. Coarse paper (180 grit) is used to refine the circular shape.

The connecting rod and pulley, after sanding and polishing. I used increasingly fine sandpaper, from 400 to 3000 grade, then polished with Autosol. The stainless steel connecting rod has responded better than the plain steel pulley.
