Finally got the Spyder3Express working in Ubuntu 9.10. Hoping everything will work fine for 10.04.
Hardware: Spyder3Express
Software: Argyll CMS 1.1.1 (anything before will not work with S3E), dispcalGUI, xcalib (dispwin)
Now I can calibrate all of my laptops and LCDs for proper color. I think I'm starting to get a handle on this thing called color management.. :)
Blackboard course websites were divided into categories based on the level of staff participation. Super low staff participation courses (n=849) were those in which course staff had less than 100 hits on the course site during the term.
Students in these courses were then divided into groups based on final grade (HD - high distinction is the highest grade, F - fail is the lowest).
For each of the student groups the average number of hits on the course site and the average number of hits on the course discussion forum are then calculated. Course discussion forum hits always less than web site hits.
Normally, there should be a connection between student grade and # of hits. The better the grade, the higher the number of hits on both.
Not here with super low participation courses.
Test run on compressed air. I haven't finished sanding and polishing the flywheel but couldn't resist trying the engine.
