I was on a cloverleaf exiting the expressway at the end of a working weekend when I saw Randy's truck pull over on the interstate in my mirror. He was towing a trailer full of antique gas pumps, and got out to secure the load. I saw that, and opportunity.

Parked on the shoulder, grabbed the cameras and hoofed across the cloverleaf grass back to the expressway to introduce myself. He was heading back to his shop from the Michigan Gas Show with a load of cherry vintage pumps. He says that business has been really good and that thanks to the crappy (for us) exchange rate, that some Australian collectors have been the beneficiaries of some righteous deals.

Good for them. Good for him. Cool shot for the project.
