I have never seen a rainbow this vivid before. It was such a beautiful sight to see after the rain yesterday afternoon. I would like to believe that it is a sign that the rainy days are over.

It was slight rain and cloudy day with low clouds and fantastic scenery of Eystrahorn, Hvalnes Peninsula, south east coast of Iceland.
Eystrahorn – Krossanesfjall is on the south east shore of Iceland, 50 kilometers east of Höfn and 40 kilometers east of Vestrahorntogether with its more famous brother in rocky crime Vestrahorn another distinctive rocky mountain formation on the south east coast of Iceland.

Talsarnau or Talsamau is a village and community in the Ardudwy area of Gwynedd in Wales. Its population was 525 in 2001, and had increased to 550 at the 2011 Census. The village of Talsarnau is situated on the A496 coastal road between Maentwrog and Harlech, close to the hamlets of Eisingrug and Llandecwyn.
Darker green blob behind this male goldfinch is part of a Sequoia tree branch, I think.
Playing with Auto ISO while clouds obscure and then reveal the sun. The little finches oblige me. At times they hang on to the netting to peer inside the house, or perhaps it’s fun.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia, Argentina. One of the highlights of my trip was a one-hour catamaran tour that took me up close to the towering ice walls. As the catamaran glided across the turquoise waters of Lake Argentino, I was amazed by the sheer scale of the glacier.
The ice wall, rising approximately 74 meters (243 feet) above the water's surface, seemed to stretch endlessly into the distance. The catamaran even docked at the base of the glacier, allowing me to feel the cold air and hear the distant cracking of the ice. It was an unforgettable experience that I'll cherish forever.
