Looking over the Western Isles.

Lightening, glowing up the clouds into these wonderful colors

Looking south to Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock from the Ecola Point Day-use Area in Ecola State Park

Glenelg Beach South Australia. The cloud structure amazed me. . I waited and waited until the sun peaked out and was rewarded by this beautiful scene in front of me.

iPhone 7 Plus, native camera, Snapseed app.

State Forest Campground near Gladwin, Michigan.

Photographed after the sunset from the Shady Maple overlook along the backwaters of the Mississippi River in northwestern Vernon County, Wisconsin.

Loking east over the deepwater.

.....strong and powerful as it filled the sky. Breath-taking!

In the back of my mind, I was singing "Africa" by Toto when I took this.

Ok, I may have been humming out loud.

Ok, singing out loud.

On my way up the exit to Vista Point, I park the car one last time, leave the door open and walk back a bit to photograph the sun as it peeks through the clouds.

The spectacular view of downtown Calgary from Scotsman's Hill. The Saddledome in the foreground definitely gives away the location - iconic Calgary!

White Fronted Geese at sunset, Gray Lodge Wildlife Area, Live Oak, Ca.

A cracker of a sunsrise over Staffin bay, I did kind of get wet feet for this as I had a "I wonder what happens if I go over there" moment. Well I found a gate off it's hinges and a decent view of the bay, but I just had trainers on and the cows had chewed the field to mud... Still worth damp feet I reckon

One of my favorite sunrise spots in the entire park

Mammatus forming on the underside of a strong storm as it moved over Camden , AR.

Photographed from Goose Island County Park near La Crosse, Wisconsin.

We have many solar halos in the early spring.

2 red tail hawks in the trees....watching me and the approaching storm.

Shot through the terminal window prior to departure for Hartford CT.

There is a feint line right down the center of the shot, which makes the left side a bit darker than the right. This is not a botched stitching job, but a an effect from the glass of the window.

Over the wetland, a mostly clear sky.
