Late afternoon (7:30PM) showers tried to developed but lower level air was very dry. Virga and some gusty winds was the best the atmosphere could deliver.

For some reason I have a fascination for photographing clouds behind chain link fences.

Out walking the dogs and the clouds over Tynemouth yesterday afternoon were awesome. I didn’t have to look hard for a composition.

Sunrise cloudscape in soft pastel colours with high cloud Avoca Beach on the Central Coast, NSW, Australia.

I sat out with the camera from around 9pm and enjoyed the changing light, the clouds and all the movement. I’ve tried to capture the moment in the clouds here. The sun had set.

Moody cloudscape over the Union Canal, the clouds with that "electric sky" effect as the sun behind them makes them all glow.

Strong winds at mid and high levels has created a rapidly changing sky today. Altocumulus lenticular clouds and cirrus bands have been stretched out more than usual.
