I stepped out of the house one day,
was not in a good mood
then I looked up and saw the blue sky
strewn with cotton candy clouds
and the most vivid light ...
wow, my bad mood floated away ...
The skies suggest threatening weather but nothing occurred. These clouds persisted for less than 20 minutes. Looks like mammatus formation but was probably just turbulence punching through a layer of altostratus.
A nearly complete silver lining draws ones attention to intense crepuscular rays during some afternoon backlit buildups.
