Clouds over Detroit, taken from Windsor Ontario across the Detroit River This was taken within a few minutes of Detroit Sunset, perhaps at a slightly different angle and at a slightly different focal length.

More clouds in Zeeland, the Netherlands.

I took this shot traveling down I90 in eastern washington at 70 mph.

On the right you will find the Magellan Clouds. The Small Magellan Cloud on the top and the Large Magellan Cloud below.

These "clouds" are actually small irregular galaxies orbiting around the Milky Way each cloud contains millions and millions of stars.

They can be seen with the naked eye from a dark location from the South Hemisphere.

If you look carefully you will see the great globular Cluster 47 Tucanae just next to the small Magellan Cloud and you will see a bright spot on the lower right of the Big Magellan Cloud, that's the Tarantula nebula a star nursery.

The little domes of light at the horizon are produced by light pollution from distant towns.

Taken at the hills of Azul, Argentina.

A sunrise from a few weeks ago.

Near the Sol Rio de Luna y Mares in eastern Cuba. The small birds in the water are Least Grebes.

I had to post one more sunset as they are so stunning that this is SOTC. Working on lots of street stuff with my P&S , stay tuned

Backlit storm clouds contrast against a blue sky

Was a great sight to see this thunder head from a distance. I love how the sun lit up the clouds. Another great sight here in Burkina Faso. I belive this is a cumulonimbus incus cloud. Help from wiki of course...

intense rainbow over the Columbia River in Wenatchee

As taken over Pagham Harbour never seen a cloud like this (not a vapour trail to low.)

On the way from Hualien to Taipei, snuck out the Holga and took a few shots out the window as the plane broke through the cloud cover. The stewardess kind of freaked out when she saw me taking pictures. I guess she thought I was breaking the new electronics rule of domestric flights. If you look closely, you can see the shadow of the plane.

A snap from our drive back from Milton Keynes via the 'country route'. :)

Epic pre dawn sky this morning! Our first NLC's this year!

Even though we live in a LP area, we were able to photograph these magnificent rare and beautiful clouds!

Keep looking up!
