The Cloudless Sulphur (Phoebis sennae) is a small to midsized butterfly in the family Pieridae found in the New World. There are several similar species such as the Yellow Angled Sulphur which has angled wings or other sulphurs which are much smaller.

A colony of yellow invaders has found some cassia flowers in our garden.

Cloudless Sulphur Butterfly almost disappears in this flower.

Phoebis sennae. This large sulphur is interested in some moist sand near Onion Creek, McKinney Falls State Park near Austin. The greenish color indicates it is a female.
