Who says you can never see the Paps of Jura because of cloud.

I raced to English Bay on Sunday night to catch the sunset. I arrived just in the nick of time, as you can see. It was a cloudless sunset, which was a little dissapointing, I'll be honest.

The evening sun looked nice, it cast a nice orange glow over every thing.

Never have the lens I need :)

These were gigantic pelicans, absolutely huge! Flying around and around and around in circles for ages.

Hot, cloudless sky at sunset. Where's a few clouds when you need them?

Half an hour before low water an a clear and bright morning on Totnes Steamer Quay.

A pleasant, cloudless Thanksgiving Day sunset over the city. Brrrr, it felt quite chilly out. Me and my family were still preparing to head to Stockton, CA for our family's annual Thanksgiving party. This year, the party was taking place at my cousin Melinda's place. Pics taken from around San Jose, CA. (Thursday around sunset, November 26, 2015)

Short-term weather update:

Freeze warnings in effect... Overnight lows were to range from 26 to 32 for many inland locations the next few evenings. Potential health impacts would occur for those who are exposed outside during overnight hours. Also, sensitive plants or animals can be severely impacted if precautions are not taken. A freeze warning means that sub-freezing temps are imminent or highly likely. These conditions would kill crops and other sensitive vegetation... keep warm, stay indoors! Protect tender plants by covering them with sheets or bring them indoors.

This unfortunate one was visiting a Florida paintbrush in Charlton County, GA, when it fell prey to a lynx spider.
