Dark clouds with a tint of white can fool almost anyone. As beautiful and non threatening as these clouds can be, they are quick to change to oh run here comes severe weather.
Weather
I don’t think I’ve posted different weather conditions before. So here are lots of rain; snow; clouds; The Moon; rainbows; fog and mist and other stuff all coming your way every now and then.

Strange and unusual cloud formation. Taken at Corfe Castle but seen also where I live.

I'd stopped on the edge of the moors to observe a Short-eared Owl that I'd seen from the road whilst driving away from Sheffield. When the owl went to ground I used the lens I had to hand to take a number of images of this impressive cloudscape, which I had to stitch together to produce this image. The view is looking eastward. In the middle distance, the illuminated buildings are in the Gleadless area of Sheffield.

I hope your Christmas was filled with love! ❤
Red is the color of love. Beating hearts and hungry lips. Roses, Valentines, cherries.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
"Stop the car!" was my polite request to my husband as we were driving south from Broadford along the Elgol Road. Fortunately a convenient place to pull over was close, so I sauntered calmly to a suitable location for this three-shot panorama of the wonderful cloud formation over Beinn na Caillich. I then quickly made my way back to the car, where my very patient husband had kept the engine running...
“The sky, a perfect empty canvas, offers clouds nonetheless. They shift and drift and beg interpretation... such is the nature of art.”

It's not that "today is the first day of the rest of my life," but that now is all there is of my life.

More cloud formations whilst on a beach walk @ Black Rock Sands / Morfa Bychan.
Morfa Bychan, known locally as Black Rock Sands, is a sandy beach, with rocky areas- although the rocks aren’t actually black. The beach stretches for about 2 miles and is backed by a dune system which has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. There are plenty of rockpools to explore here as well as some interesting caverns.
A river mouth lies at the south-eastern end of the beach, and the village of Morfa Bychan is a few hundred meters away. The beach has lovely views of the mountains and countryside of Snowdonia National Park.
A slipway provides vehicular access to the sands and most visitors park on the beach, making it a popular picnic destination and providing easy access for those with mobility problems. There are designated bathing and boat launching areas. Dogs are banned from the central section of the beach, but are allowed on the eastern and western sections.
There are a number of holiday parks in the area surrounding the beach. In the village of Morfa Bychan there are shops, places to eat and a golf club. There are more facilities in the town of Porthmadog, about 2 miles from the beach.
I've been coming here for a great many years but I have never ever seen cloud formations light this. From New Years Eve, 2012. Thanks for the look and have a great weekend.
ITALY September 2018
This is the first of a number of postings from a trip we did in September 2018 to Lake Como. These images are from a trip on the Bernina Express from Tirano to St Moritz and this is the first of two postings.

It is almost summer here - with temperatures high as 28 degrees celsius, it is too hot to be ordinary spring day. My hope was that those clouds will cool us down, but they didn't.
