As the sun set over the hay bales in a field over near Crewkerne, the storms passed overhead.
A few minutes earliuer I was getting soaked, so ran back to the car for a few minutes. Then, the sun came out. An amazing show of different weather within a few minutes.
The rainbow was a real bonus.

The clouds were super-dramatic tonight. Or I guess I should say cloud. As in one massive cloud. So bizarre and wild.
The Quiver tree gets it name because the San hunters used it branches as quivers. The branches were hollowed out leaving a strong hollow tube. This image was taken at the Quiver Tree Forest just outside Keetmanshoop in Namibia.

Like I mentioned on the other photo, I've been working with some post-processing techniques that bring out colors in dark photos. This photo is entirely lit by ambient moon light, lighting from the clouds, and lightning bugs.
This shot is post-processed and I blogged about it here
I know, that this is nothing special, plus I took it with my iPhone, but somehow I still like it... it's the clouds, the colors... I can't really explain... not the quality for sure, lol

Barn in the Vale of Evesham, Worcestershire, England under sunrays (HDR image from 2 original captures using Photoshop to blend)
Any good? Tips? I was going for a reasonably natural looking effect to capture a scene which I would have struggled to capture any other way. It's ended up a bit darker (to emphasise the sunrays) and a bit more saturated than I remember the real scene.
