This day looked like the sky was on fire.

Lampertheim sunset from the Biergarten.

Lampertheim,

Hessen.

The island of Cebu is very cloudy during this time.

A windy Moonlit night down at Whitecliff bay on the Isle of wight at around 3am.

Low tide allowed us to get down and clamber over the rocks and capture the cliffs, the clouds coming over the edge were beautifully lit by the moon and some of lights from nearby Sandown.

Looking back down the track into Largs and Great Cumbrae beyond. When the clouds relented it really added some extra zest to the view

The Trade Winds -known as "Alisios"- push clouds full of water through the ocean to La Palma Island; then the clouds collide with the "Cumbre Nueva" range -1500 to 1600 m. high- and fall from the top, dissolving itself because of the pressure and temperature. Seeing from National Park of La Caldera de Taburiente, La Palma Island.

A few more from our stormy weather

It's a wonderful experience to drive through the vast stretch of coastal drive known as "17-Mile Drive", with many Vista points. This was shot near a point called "Bird Rock"

The title sums up my thoughts on clouds.

I think I like this one even better than the shot taken inside the Colisseum. There was this wonderful swirly cirrus cloud hovering above, adding a little interest to an otherwise plain blue sky. The midday harsh light works well for severe B&W conversions like this, I think!

Sunrise was very low key today, but when packing up to go home noticed the awesome cloud formations , Port Lincoln, South Australia, Eyre Peninsula

Stumbled across this moody picture from my visit to Scotland that I haven't shared yet.

I am currently in Germany for a couple of weeks to catch a break from the scorching summer heat in Tokyo. Perfect time to go through some old photos :)

This is my first texture and wanted to share it with whoever may want to use it...

It is free to use in your personal or commercial work, but you may not reshare, distribute, claim/imply it to be your own, or use it to create derivatives.

It's not mandatory, but if you use it I would really like to see what you did, so if you want to share your final work in a comment under this texture it would be great!

I was in the back yard just after sunset and spotted this cloud. It looked like a big bird, or maybe a pteradactyl.

Stringing Black Cloud. Getting to this point means I have overcome the trials of the kiln. I have applied several layers of china paint fired at about 1300 degrees. Suede is glued into each socket. Once the glue dries I can string the pieces together with elastic cord. I do this on the floor because if I lose my grip there is no fall. Even though I eliminate the treachery of gravity, I have several cats who think I am playing a fun game with them

Quick shot while starting the bbq :-)

I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes. ~e.e. cummings
