The Autumn Lady’s-tresses (Spiranthes spiralis) and Cat’s-ear (Hypochaeris radicata, I believe), This is the site where these small orchids (the last wild orchids that flower in the season in the UK) are particularly well present in their hundreds. Though this year, compared to our last visit few years ago, the numbers seems reduced and they look even smaller. The ground was quite dry and New Forest ponies teamed up with cows are at work here keeping everything they can eat low in height. New Forest. England, UK.
A revisit to 2 of the themes this year, Candy and Foil. This Cadbury Hero chocolate mini Crunchie displayed among the foil in which it was wrapped.
Two ladybirds sit very close together on a fresh green leaf – bright red spots, a soft green background, and a moment we probably weren’t meant to witness.

Nicht gucken, wir üben Biologie!
Zwei Marienkäfer ganz nah beieinander auf einem frischen grünen Blatt – roter Pünktchen-Look, grüner Hintergrund, und ein Moment, in den wir eigentlich gar nicht reinschauen sollten.
I was doing insect-flower macro-photography in the backyard and laid down to get close to the bees working the clover. As I was waiting for some bees to come closer I took some shots of the clover itself which is neat to see at this scale. This clover has some purple colors on it's flowers so I'm calling this purple clover.
