Nikon SB800 strobe over to my right close to subject. Had a diffusion foam sheet above it to do some soft bounce light.

Used a Nikon 50mm 1.4 lens at f1.4 and extention tube. Exposure approx 1/250th sec.

Using the macro function to attempt to scout for grey hairs after spotting quite a few in the mirror.

It has been very hot the last couple of days - at noon time I am finding bumble bees hiding in any shade they can find to wait out the heat - these guys are on the bottom of my flag stick which I had taken down for repairs.

This shotgun is over a hundred years old. The wood was handcarved by the great-grandfather of a friend. It is truly a treasure!
