Just a random moment when I was slicing an apple ...
Initial thought was to strike light thru the seed holes ... but it's was just too much work .. lol
My 6yo daughter is an expert at catching bugs (insects, whatever). She's been doing it for a long time, always very gently, and then allowing me to get a photo of it. :)
She had a lot of fun catching grasshoppers; they were a bit difficult, as she'd get close and then it would zip off suddenly, sort of flying/zooming about 3 feet away. But she was able to catch a few of them, and thankfully they sat still long enough for me to snag a few shots.
I know a picture of a dragonfly was already taken for tthis topic but I couldn't help taking pictures of this one, and I think this creature shows the nature of art with its neat colors, its cool looking eyes, and wings.
Stitch marker samples for the April PhatFiber box. The theme is "Butterflies & Flutterbyes." These Flutterbyes are sample from the three Clapotis sets (18 stitch markers) already in my shop.
Testing my Nikon D40 and my new flickr account. I promise the subjects will get more interesting but I love the quality that the D40 delivers.
