Backyard hybrid rose - early morning, 1/60 sec with flash, F/22. Nikkor 60mm, 2.8 micro lens - I don't know what variety this is. The bush is less than 5 years old.

Here is a close up of the see-through portion of the walkway on the sundial bridge. I thought the wrinkles looked neat so I took a close-up photo.

This shotgun is over a hundred years old. The wood was handcarved by the great-grandfather of a friend. It is truly a treasure!

The museum is housed in the guesthouse, of the 110–room mansion William Randolph Hearst built for actress Marion Davies in the 1930s. The only remaining original structures are the pool, which takes walk–ups and reservations 1 to 3 days in advance, and the guesthouse. This was taken with a Lumix GH-2, and 35 year old 24mm macro Sigma lens for a full frame Minolta MC/MD mount, using a m43ds adapter for the GH2.
A closeup of the finished yarn. There are definitely some thick and thin bits but it's largely pretty even.
A little over 225 yards of handspun yarn. It's about 20 wpi, give or take. The fiber is from and it's 90% cotswold and 10% silk. The colorway is called, "September Glow."
