I found this quaint little creature, I think what we call an elephant weevil (Orthorhinus cylindrirostrus), in my Gold Coast hinterland garden where I was removing dying lilly pilly trees. I am not sure of its correct identity.

when the landscape doesn't offer much, look for closer things. Just enjoying the camera on this day.

Purple Mignon Dahlia Bloom With a yellow center after rain.

Lots of large allium plants growing in the borders by Paignton Harbour.

Okay my hubby got me a dozen different colored tea roses last week..... that is more than enough to drive a macromaniac INSANE!!!!! LOL....
