This is the after shot of what our front closet looks like. I didn't think to take a before shot until I was about 1/2 way through emptying it out.
Closet Cleanout 2007. See how organized! Picture is split because I have those retarded sliding closet doors that only allow you to see half of the closet at a time.
The other half of my closet.
I still need to replace the clothes rod with a metal one, and I need to hang a shoe rack in there too... I should also put in some hooks in the back and get two small battery powered light to stick on the ceiling for some light.

Instead of taking a nap I decided it was a good idea to spend the afternoon organizing my craft stuffs, namely the fabric.
Looky here. Finally cleaned my part of the closet. All of her stuff is hidden around the corner. Not fair.
This closet had stood essentially unchanged since we moved in 2 years ago. I'd tried some organization: for example, I'd sorted the various cables by types and put them in labeled bags. By the way, anyone else remember the old AppleTalk PhoneNet connectors? Yeah, I got them.
You can see how I started just stacking stuff on top. This unstable structure was one good shake from a two-year-old from collapsing.
Hung by outfits - shirts, shorts, and underwear, all on each hanger

this took quite a few hours...i now have no more shoe boxes, and i gave away a TON of clothes. i'm going to try to live by the "new clothing in, old clothing out" rule.
Perhaps you could appreciate it more ifI took before pictures. ;) Sorry for the proliferation of notes!
