not everywhere turned their lights off

A two-person exhibition featuring the work of Catherine Esmond Mulligan NDSU Senior Lecturer (1976-1996) and Carole Frances Lung NDSU BS 1988. Closed loop honors the relationship of two women artists who have been circling each other for over thirty years, first as student and teacher, then as peers and friends. We have shared studio time, encouraged, critiqued and continued to watch each other grow. The works presented are examples of our individual reflections on personal histories with sewing, mending, making and teaching.
