Another view from a different angle. These pegs are a definite improvement over the typical banjo- or guitar-style tuner that is usually installed in hurdy-gurdies and which is, in my opinion, quite ugly on one of these instruments.

I tried to stand right over and in front of the toad but it kept turning to the side away from me. Finally got this shot although it was not straight on. Also goes by the name Coastal Plains Toad.

Took off the carburetor and dunked it numerous times in the Gunk carburetor soak cleaner. Sprayed all the jets clean. Unable to do a complete overhaul because the screws are stuck and main jet strips. Cleaned the fuel pump, but the rebuild kit comes later this week. Still runs rough, but just got it running today so there is time. You can see some of the debris under the engine that blew out when we started it.

This little Norwegian boy helped me with this when we were stranded at the airport (threading my needle, holding the thread back - downright adorable). He thought the husband was a woman. So I made sure to add lotsa stubble.
