Queen Victoria Market Meat Pavillion, Melbourne, Australia.

Late on a Sunday afternoon customers gather at the last open stall in a desperate grab for chicken. References to the butcher's trade continue in the repeated meat hook-like motif of the steel structure overhead. I have no idea what that's for, by the way; maybe hanging meat, or awnings.

No rabbits were harmed in the making of this photograph, possibly.

Glenn Close looked stunning in a head-to-toe hot pink ensemble for her first appearance at the iconic Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (2 May).

Never one to shy away from a bold sartorial decision, the 75-year-old actress stepped out in a bright fuchsia Valentino outfit, featuring floor length flare trousers and a matching blouse. Valentino's designer Pier Paolo Piccoli joined her on the red carpet.

She paired her outfit with a statement floral embroidered cape — a bold take on the "Gilded Glamour” theme for the event.

I thought I would have a close up of Sefi, just to show her cute little markings.

Sometimes the content of a photograph can excuse its less than stellar image quality. This grab shot seemed worth seeing.

This IS a single image...not a composite. I have the original unprocessed file, and the photos in the series which came before and after this one.

A rare clear view of the Close - Wells Cathedral looming up in the background, and slightly lower down on the left is the octagonal roof of the chapter house.

This Osprey was watching us as closely as we were watching him.
