Instead of eating from the Squirrel Feeders at Morton Lochs, this little cutie sat with his bottom inside the tub containing the food provided by the wildlife trust.

Back into the Mer Bleue area for this morning's walk.
Here I'm watching two mountain bikers approaching. When bicycles or joggers get close I have to sit and wait for them to pass.
I'm pretty good at observing the rules on the trail. Most of the time I have a lot of freedom.

A close up image of one of the regions in the Small Magellanic Cloud that I planned on imaging after noticing this (and a few other objects) in my wide field image of the SMC which I exposed about a month ago.
This frame contains NGC346, NGC371 and NGC395.
This bi-color image was exposed through a Celestron C8 at f6.3 (1280mm focal length) with a QHY268M camera and the 2 channels were integrated through Baader 7nm H-Alpha and OIII filters.
Total integration time for this image was 4 hours and 10 minutes.

This is the only acceptable close-up I have managed of one of the wildcat kittens. When they are close to the fence focusing gets difficult, especially as you have to take the photos through the lower part of the fence which consists of three layers of wire-mesh. It's a shame that I cut the tip of one ear off but at least the eyes are in focus.
