Miyama-gamazumi (Viburnum wrightii) is a flowering shrub that is found in mountainous areas as compared to Gamazumi (Viburnum dilatatum) that is found in lowlands.

Gamazumi is native to East Asia, but found in other parts of the world as an ornamental plant. Guelder rose (Viburnum opulus), which is a close relative of Gamazumi, is native to Europe, Central Asia and North Africa. It is called "Калинка" in Russia, which is also the name of a song that was used for the BGM of Tetris.

English name of Gamazumi is Linden arrowweed, but Miyama Gamazumi does not have an English name.

In onze tuin staat een afgezaagde amerikaanse eik. Elk jaar loopt ie toch weer uit met grote kleurrijke bladeren. Dit is een close-up van een van die bladeren.

In our garden stands a cut-down American oak. Every year, it sprouts new leaves with large, colorful foliage. This is a close-up of one of those leaves.
