Site of the Point Puer Boys' Prison (1834-1849) at Port Arthur, Tasmania. This is the far side of the island where the boys would come to fish and swim, risking severe punishments. Boys as young as 12 years old were sent here.
I always seem to find my self disappointed with the sharpness of the final image, given what I started with. This shot is of the white cliffs in Dover
This is an RSPB reserve on the Yorkshire coast. There is a viewing platform on the top of the cliffs above the natural arch from where you can see all the sea birds roosting on the cliffs. We spent a happy half hour or so just watching them flying back and forth out to sea. Best viewed large on black.

Been looking at this one in my Lightroom catalogue for a while. Decided to process as a black and white image. I quite like the ghost town feel this has, which is most unlike the vibrant Saltburn that I know. Developed in photomatix and lightroom.

She climbed up the cliff overlooking the brave waves of the sea far below her feet. That was the place where her husband used to spend long hours fishing, his favourite pastime, his passion. She wanted to get it done fast, scatter the ashes from the top, as he had clearly put should be done after his death. The wind was blowing strong. Suddenly, a particularly fierce gust swept her away from the cliff. She set out to meet her husband as he was being showered, somewhat earlier than anticipated.
