I love crows. They inspire creativity and I believe they're my totem animal.

I've always wanted a crow for my writing room and I found this little guy on sale at Joann Fabric today.

I still want a life-sized guy, but I love this little guy. :)

This sign is clever but it also matched the service. I think everyone has experienced both good and bad service. The service here was excellent. I tipped extra because I appreciated the clever sign and because it matched the service. Not only did they anticipate your needs but they asked the most succinct questions to elicit a quick response. In this way they moved the line quickly and prevented the hemming and hawing of indecisive customers. They absolutely controlled the dialog and did so with every bit of courtesy. It was a sight to behold. Kudos to the San Francisco Street Bakery in Olympia, Washington.

Aqui tem todas as casas nas quais o Chapéu Seletor poderia ter me colocado, mas nesse post eu mostrei a na qual fui parar.

O esmalte que usei como base, o Pinot Blue, é ótimo - cobre fácil, tem um tom lindo e shimmer prata, mas não sobrou nada dele nessa mani, que o glitter da Dany é meio jelly, pigmentado, e escurece o esmalte de baixo. Queria algo meio teal, que combinasse com o meu cachecol da Ravenclaw, então a combinação foi super feliz. Adorei o azul com bronze, não é uma combinação óbvia e ainda assim é elegante.

Not sure if this New Caledonia Gecko is even a girl, but the way it's hiding in the foliage made me think of the classic scene in Jurassic Park.

Certainly seeing my flowering Bauhinia blakeana tree is one of the best things I love about winter/spring here in Florida. It truly is one of the most beautiful orchid trees. Technically. it is not a true orchid. Bauhinia blakeana is really in the pea family, not in the orchid family. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous-- the tree is enveloped in large green heart shaped leaves and 4-6" purple/magenta flowers. Scientific name: Bauhinia x blakeana Family: Caesalpinioideae / Caesalpiniaceae Common name: Hong Kong Orchid Tree Origin: Hong Kong, Southern China "Clever Leaf" meaning Cleverness
