Members of the Vicenza Military Community came together to help Italian volunteers clean the town of Longare and surroundings up for spring.
On the following day, Soldiers from the Sergeant Morales Club and BOSS, along with their family members, joined Italian volunteers for the 4th annual cleanup day in Quinto Vicentino.
Both days, the cleanup ended with a luncheon offered to all participants to thank them for their enthusiasm and support.

A day after MDMOWQM derailed and swept the bridge over Four Mile Creek clean, BNSF and Hulcher crews were busy working to restore the line.
Hundreds of volunteers helped beautify several Dallas ISD schools on Thursday, April 14, 2011, leading up to Earth Day. The project was sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency and DART, which bused the volunteers to 10 district campuses. i spilt a big splotch of daphne blue on the floor over there ... actually it was one of the bantam hens that tipped it ( but i must have left the lid on pretty loosely inbetween coats ... )
Over 60 City College students initiated a beach cleanup at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea today. Nearly a dozen local residents joined the students in removing several hundred pounds of trash and garbage from the sand and sea grass. By doing this, the students restored the environment and protected humans and wildlife from harm.
While gathering and planning the cleanup under the pavilion, the students' professionalism and commitment drew comments from onlookers. Many bystanders complimented the students, asking for information about them and City College.
The next beach cleanup will be Saturday, June 18th at 8:30am followed by an end of term Beach Party.
