Montessori School for Shreveport and the Bayou Chapter of the Ozarks Society sponsored a cleanup of Anderson Bayou, adjacent to the Montessori Campus in Shreveport's scenic Stoner Hill.
A mixed group consisting of Soldiers, Alpini, Department of the Army civilians and family members, work together to collect trash near Longare during the annual cleanup day March 11.
Members of the Vicenza Military Community came together to help Italian volunteers clean the town of Longare and surroundings up for spring.
On the following day, Soldiers from the Sergeant Morales Club and BOSS, along with their family members, joined Italian volunteers for the 4th annual cleanup day in Quinto Vicentino.
Both days, the cleanup ended with a luncheon offered to all participants to thank them for their enthusiasm and support.

This photo depicts a soldier co-ordinating the tear down of a building destroyed by the earthquake. Large quantities of the Chinese Army were stationed throughout Sichuan helping in whatever way they could. The masks were needed because of the people that had passed on after being crushed by rubble. This building was too unsafe to leave so they decided to take it down. Explosives were not allowed to be used because of the unstableness of the surrounding buildings, therefore large hydraulic breakers were commissioned to do all the dirty work.
