Members of the Vicenza Military Community came together to help Italian volunteers clean the town of Longare and surroundings up for spring.
On the following day, Soldiers from the Sergeant Morales Club and BOSS, along with their family members, joined Italian volunteers for the 4th annual cleanup day in Quinto Vicentino.
Both days, the cleanup ended with a luncheon offered to all participants to thank them for their enthusiasm and support.

Embassy Tokyo team joins 100+ International Coastal Cleanup volunteers from the Japan Environmental Action Network
Each year in March, Australians register to have a clean-up day. The Gecko Environment Council along with the Gold Coast City Council, organise the event. This year the site we cleaned up had less rubbish than the previous years so we are hoping that the message is getting out there.
Fall cleanup of the garden beds has started in earnest. A sign that summer will soon be over (even though it reached 81 degrees today).
