On Saturday, we took out years of junk, forgotten belongings, and the odd useful objects from the attic of the Stoke Newington jagrti. The attic had become a sort of a joke amongst us at the centre - not anymore! now we have an attic to be proud of. The energy has changed, both the physical one, and the mental. (I have to say... the item that topped them all was the car dashboard!)

A mixed group consisting of Soldiers, Alpini, Department of the Army civilians and family members, work together to collect trash near Longare during the annual cleanup day March 11.

Members of the Vicenza Military Community came together to help Italian volunteers clean the town of Longare and surroundings up for spring.

 

On the following day, Soldiers from the Sergeant Morales Club and BOSS, along with their family members, joined Italian volunteers for the 4th annual cleanup day in Quinto Vicentino.

Both days, the cleanup ended with a luncheon offered to all participants to thank them for their enthusiasm and support.
