Buried AGU Raincoat in garbage container

Another day with no power... Rob spends the day clearing our place of downed trees and leaf debris. Pop home to see him at lunch with a pie and find him on the roof cleaning the gutters.

Wednesday, 7 March 2012.

So I got the main large rose bush all trimmed back and cleaned up under - now need to do some planting of little flowers and Lets not talk about the lawn. That's going to be fixed later!!!

the money shot. i was doing this series so i could re-create a little clipart book on cleaning up after fun playtime that truman's preschool teacher sent home when he was having trouble transitioning from play to cleanup time. the clip art was atrocious! sadly i only got one really clear photo of cleaning up. i guess i only need one though.

All the stuff on and around the table is not staying there!

D reorganized this bit of the kitchen. This is an awesome semicircular whiteboard table we got at U of M Property Disposition; I think it used to be in some science building for group projects. (Yeah, you can write on it! You can see my whiteboard crayons in the picture; I chose crayons over markers because I don't want those smelly markers in the kitchen around my food). The table has historically been covered in junk and odds & ends but it has now been repurposed for USEFUL kitchen things. A place for my cookbooks and a place for the blender & food processor (previously stored in an annoying and hard-to-get-to cupboard).

I'm hoping that this set up works and that it doesn't become a Junk Table again.

Trafalgar Square, early morning

I found a second rock , not as large as the first ,

While #cleaningup #weeds and looking for #rocks to #throwaway in the #backyard, I #unearthed a #massiverock

I dug my way around the rock and moved it out of the hole slowly to the top, where it will stay for now until I find a new location.

The rock must be 200-300 pounds!

Thanks to my little sister and her ability to motivate and organise, I now have a usable den. It's so nice to have this space back.i now have better access to my books and have set up my TV and AppleTV for the first time since arriving in the US 10.5 months ago.

when I was in France in December 2005 I witness a very strong storms hitting the Côte d'Azur. The day after, everything was silent and calm, the sun was shining as if nothing had happened ...

Let us take care of you, so you can play too at Imagine That!!! Discovery Museum for Children.

as parents of two kids, we've become a minor hub for fedex, ups, and the us postal service -- boxes delivered every day since mid-december. as good santa's little helpers, we just pile up most of the boxes for december 25 -- but jack and donna snuck this gift past all santa radar disguised as an xmas card. its an REI gift certificate, and we're going to have a lot of fun putting it to use.

Spent most of the last couple days cleaning up the roses around the arbor.

Our first job the landscaper told us to do was trim all the roses!

We need to clean up the rest of the yard of weeds and leaves but the wind has been so bad that we are just chasing leaves ;) But I did get a couple buckets picked up especially under and around rose bushes/arbor

Still need to finish the left side as that rose bush is all over the place.

Retro graphics for the short film Cleaning Up, starring Mark Gatiss and Louise Jameson.

we were just sitting down to breakfast when our little kitten baby buddha came running in from outside, scampered up a wood beam, and batted rachel's lunchbox onto the stairs, where it tumbled down and burst open, spewing two pints of curry (prik khing) and cock brand glutinous black rice (we call it black cock for short) all over the stairs, windowsill, and wall below.

the kids were very amused, rachel was not. the kids suddenly had a million reasons they needed to be in and around the accident scene, so rachel put them to work, or put nick to work at least, and sequoia settled into a cheerleader role.

meanwhile everyone's breakfast (eggs, coffee, tea, banana bread) got cold, and i had to shut the guilty, sulking kitten in the office to keep him away from our food.

Nothing goes waste in nature. Even when a tiny insect dies, it does give the stomach full to the beetle that can scavenge and vanishes. This tiny beetle was seen on Marina Beach, Chennai, consuming the carcass of the dead insect belly first, which is about the same size in terms of the body's length.

The rocks and stones that are seen here are the sand particles in the beach.

We watched for what seemed like hours on end for this arrival,, but in fact was about 3 hours.

All the adult Giraffes were helping to clean the baby with the parents, and this image is when the baby was 2 minutes old.

Hope you are enjoying the series

Having completed my epic journey in honour of yesterdays hobbit day I couldn’t wait to get back again and have a little celebration. But when I arrived at my little hobbit home there was no party in sight. There wasn’t even anyone around, so I went off to investigate.

And guess what…I found Uncle “Samwise” sleeping in a corner with lots of cookie crumbs all around him. While I had to battle the creatures of Mordor he had delved into my secret elf cookie stash! When questioned he mumbled something about them having been planted there which was clearly a lie and I had no choice but to administer a little thwacking.

Which in hindsight was a bit of a mistake because it left me to do all the cleaning up!

Sigh.

This guy was walking right out to the edge of the Grand Canyon to pickup trash. The drop off below him must have been hundreds of meters. If you look closely at this Where’s Waldo style photo you can see him.

Cleaning up the garbage left behind on the fields... . (Not by us, I swear! We always used our garbage bags, or when those were not present, we'd asked if we were allowed to add it to someone else's rubbish collection.)
