I wish I would had the time for taking a better photo, but I was so busy today.
I spent all day cleaning up my attic. I've thrown away a great part of my past today. old letters, old presents, old photos (and a lot of snack wrapping and and a cork of a fruit juice, too :ù). all in the trash can now.
confession: there are many things I don't like about my past. I changed a lot in these years. I became a better person, I guess. an happier person for sure. and I'm glad I have what I have at the present.

These days, access to Weston-super-Mare pier costs £1 per person. It's the same price for children, unless they're still babes in pushchairs.
Like the guy in the picture, they must be cleaning up!
...she is just trying to keep a dirty city clean and all these freaks come by and cause trouble.=) Shot at the Hazard Center station in San Diego on Friday at Comic-Con 2008.
One of my several hobbies beside cycling and hiking etc. is the chase of mandarin ducks with the camera :-)
These birds are very beautiful and fascinating. The most problem is the to come close to them, because the maximum approximation is always 3 meters. They have a real unfair strategy to let you know that you are too close with the camera. When I think that I am in a proper position to make a shot of them, they just leave the branch with a silent and blob into the water. Even I balanced on some dangerous branches on deep water to get more close to them. FORGET IT!
This dude was cleaning up himself and allowed me a distance of 2.90 meters. I made several shots of this procedure and every picture was a squiggly form and shape of him.
Sorry for the poor quality.
But one time..... I will come closer :-)..... and I will let you know of course!
don't do a lot of night photography but wanted to see how the new bridge camera handled low light stuff :)
slider sunday-- so i was 8+ minutes into "cleaning up" this picture when i realized that *i* was not responsible for the messy keys and why should *i* have to clean them? ~grin~... they came from a keyboard that i actually found in a parking lot. (who knows why someone abandoned it there-- maybe they bought a replacement.) the keyboard served as a TTT, trash talk tuesday, shot and more recently as the stage for the pinlet colorful chorus, and now all the parts of it can go into the recycling bins, which is where it probably should have gone after the first pic..........
............so my sliding PPing is the 'dirt' removal and you can see an example of the inexpert/amateur at work in the square above.
btb, i may take another stab at this later but i have 3 mother's day pics percolating in the brain.
swapped out so this is a replacement for yesterday's grey (see below)

scavchal4 "keys"- thanks, crow, for allowing it :):)
macromondays-- am not sure that this qualifies as macro enough but i loved the lights and shadows here. will probably swap this out later when i do my "real" shot ~grin~
apologies if you have already seen it this weekend :)
It is really hard to play it cool with the guys when they open your fridge and you have Sara Lee deserts and diet soft drinks. Don't even get me started about what she kept in the bathroom. The bikini and bubble bath were NOT the worst parts!=)
In my vacation I reflected on what last year had taught me. And I had a few epiphanies,... I also got some bad news when I got home that underlined one of these epiphanies.
So that's how I came up with the concept for this pic. Out with the old in with the new,... :D
it was so kind of mim to offer to help clean up. she probably didn't need to be quite so coordinated though - everyone else was in their oldest clothes.

After Stu cut the grass I went out with the weed whacker and cleaned up some of the areas he couldn't reach with the mower.
I found a second rock , not as large as the first ,
While #cleaningup #weeds and looking for #rocks to #throwaway in the #backyard, I #unearthed a #massiverock
I dug my way around the rock and moved it out of the hole slowly to the top, where it will stay for now until I find a new location.
The rock must be 200-300 pounds!
It's been nearly two years and four months since I came off the car to go back on the ambulances..! (April 2019)

Baltimore State police were putting out calls for up to 500 additional law enforcement officers from Maryland and as many as 5,000 from around the mid-Atlantic region to stop the chaos!
While I was preparing for this rain jacket to be thrown into the garbage container a resident from one of the apartments came out to throw some garbage bags into the container.
I was staling time because I saw the bag would fill up the spot the I had in mind for this raincoat, so I started checking the pockets too see if they where empty.
The lady then turned to me and said "Nothing in the pockets anymore?" I replied that they where indeed empty.
See grabt the raincoat and threw it in!
Directly followed by two garbage bags and she pushed them in deep so the hatchet could close.
And thereby trapping the raincoat tightly between the other garbagebags.
The lady said "there now you don't have to be afraid someone will find your raincoat and grab it" and walked away.
Useless to say I had a great time and a great memory forever.
Today, was an exciting day but before all of the excitement began these two little "monkeys" were helping Nana do some baking ... but preferred the cleaning up!!
