So I’m pretty sure that I’m pretty sure that I’ll that my refrigerator’s compressor is going bad. But just to make myself more confident about the money I’ll be spending on its replacement I’ll wait until the morning to see if this is frozen or not.
This may be the cleanest that my room has been in many years. The only reason that the floor is so clean is so my brother could sleep on the floor while we had Christmas guests over. Oh, there's Robosapien, say "hi!"
This year was the cleanest I have seen a locomotive looking at Sappi. Strange given the pending diesel replacement at the end of July, the cabside brass plates already removed in preparation. Here no.2 stands under the wires in the Transnet exchange yard. 6 June 2015.

That page is known as the "photostream".
When I send you directly to a photo (from an email) you enter the site through a side door. The photostream is the front door.
That page will tell you what's new and will also tell you where the new item has been placed in the site.
When in that page, click "Sets" in the upper right. That goes to page two of the site and gives you the cleanest display of the set icons.
FIND THINGS- On any page, type a tag word into the box on the right for all of the related pages. For example, when you type in 'Pete Cochrane', you see pages about Pete from four different sets. If you type 'food note' you'll get pages with recipes or techniques.
CAUTION-
You do have to be sure you're searching only in my site. Otherwise, you are searching 'food note' in the planet Earth ! You have to use the pop-up menu for the search window and select "doneastwest's photos".

One way to find new text:
- if you are interested in a certain tag- you can check for changes. i have tagged all of the tech notes, for example.

Tech note-
Usually you just click on a tag to get where you want. But there's another way:
Go to the photostream*. You find a little tag search window there on the right.
Type the name of the tag you want into the search window. You get a beautiful comprehensive display and the text. From there, you can click any picture and find it in its home set.

If you just click on something in a the list of tags, you don't get the nice display i'm talking about, but little photos without their text. They do, however, go home if you click them.

One of the cleanest and cleverist of symbols and corporate identities is still, to my mind, that for the National Giro bank and the "G" symbol. It was designed for the launch of the banking service in 1966 by Henri Kay Henrion RDI CBE and is seen here to great effect in a March 1969 publicity leaflet that shows the range of services available from this new State owned bank that was formally part of the Post Office.
The bank had been set up by the new Wilson Labour Government in 1966 as an alternative to the existing commercial banks and offered services via the Post Office branch network and by post. In time it was one of the earliest users of telephone banking. The bank's head office was based in Bootle on Merseyside, an area that was one ofthe various regional development areas as designated by Central Government. In later years it was one of the largest retail banks in the UK but it was 'privatised' in 1990 to the Alliance & Leicester who, demutalised in 1997, eventually fell prey to one of the multi-national banking giants and the brand, of course, vanished.
Henrion (1914 - 1990) was born in Germany but came to the UK in 1936 when fleeing the Nazis. He rose to be one great industrial designers with a great many commissions to his name and was responsible for a great number of exhibition designs, posters and corporate identities. He was made a Royal Designer to Industry in 1959.

All canvas is in great condition and the isinglass is nice and clear. Boat has no leaks and is extremely clean. Must see to appreciate. The food even comes out looking like the picture?!
Though Iceland and Reykjavík are what is widely considered to be one of the most well-managed and cleanest human societies on the planet, some decay, abandonment, and dilapidation does exist within the nation and city. Outside of Reykjavík, this normally manifests as abandoned houses and farmsteads, which is largely due to the nation’s rapid urbanization during the 20th Century and the increasing impracticality of formerly fruitful rural lifestyles. However, in Reykjavík, there also are a surprising number of vacant, dilapidated, or abandoned buildings mixed in among the city’s remarkably pristine urban fabric, largely abandoned due to economic circumstances or property disputes, or dilapidated due to age, disability, apathy, or impoverishment of the owners. One of the most famous abandoned buildings is the House At Vatnsstígur 4, which was occupied by protestors who squatted and set up an anarchist commune within its walls for just over a week back in 2009 at the height of the 2008 Financial Crisis that brought the tiny North Atlantic island nation to its knees. The house, built in 1901, remains abandoned and boarded up, as it has been since the protestors were forcibly evicted and carried out by the police, with the protestors barricading themselves inside in an effort to resist arrest. There are plans to convert the building into housing, but, during my visit to Iceland back in December, little had changed since the house was forcibly vacated back in 2009. The other houses are a mix of stone and concrete, with some having tons of graffiti covering their weather-worn walls, and others merely having peeling paint, something that is rarely seen in Iceland’s largely very pristine building stock.
One of the cleanest and tidiest Jaguars of its era i have seen, no rust or scuff marks anywhere, inside and out. Wish all nice cars had great owners like this one does. Even the wheels have no pavement scratch marks. Amazing condition and respect to the owner(s)
