Adapted from the original with the same rules as my other Wolf Leews adaptations: no mixing vintage and modern parts, only use real part/color combinations, somewhat different greebling.
The Brothers-Brick really liked ZCerberus's Galaxy Explorer, so they blogged it. I really like it, so I built it in Studio. It looks quite complex, but it's really quite simple - all the fancy tricks are on the outside. Well, except the tricks needed to build the underside. As usual, I had to make that up all by myself because ZCerberus didn't post any picture of the bottom of his build. Because he didn't post pictures of the interior of the cargo bay, I didn't bother kitting it out with a lot of clips and tools either. Original here:
Double feature of 1997’s small droid ships, the V-Wing and Cyber Blaster enter the LEGO City!
These tiny old sets were heavy on cool intricate prints. All about the minifigs here, but the V-Wing has some really fun classic space elements and shaping!
‘97 picks up with leg printing, which hadn’t been seen in a space theme since ‘94s Spyrius droid, Major Kartofski. And we’ll see leg prints on their human counterparts next time I look at RoboForce.
Happy to have both the Techdroids from this theme back in my collection, which Techdroid do you like better- red or blue?

As usual, I have no idea how the original builder actually did the undersides of the spaceships.

1997’s Robo Stalker, another Mech from the strange RoboForce sub-theme!
I’m kind of a fan of the space robot goblin in striped pants, vaguely reminds me of a Beetlejuice getup? Idk, but I dig it.
This set has some seriously unique space elements and a few familiar. This set stands strong as a part’s pack, but it has enough originality to merit its own existence in any retro space collection
Good consoles for both drivers, great transparent orange elements, and even a cool sticker over the torso windshield
This set has all the prints and printed legs for the minifigs, super deluxe for ‘97
Each pilot of the orange faction of RoboForce shares the same face (previously used in Aquanauts’ sub-theme), which is an odd choice considering how many different elaborate prints were used in these sets
The detachable head/craft is good looking, with that large Exploriens’ element for a cockpit, adjustable wings, and two storage containers
More Retro Space LEGO sets to be featured soon..

“Don’t Chrome crying to me that this isn’t a full ring!”
The 4x8 wedge/wing with 1x1 notch/cutout otherwise known as 3933 & 3934 (the original classic space wings) are available in 16 colours.
Let’s forget the chrome wings that came in the #10026 ‘UCS’ Naboo Starfighter from 2000. The price per wing is enough reason!
Enter 1994’s Saucer Scout to round out my Spyrius collection
This set felt ubiquitous as a kid. I had it, and I’m pretty sure most of my friends did too back then. It’s about as simple yet effective as LEGO can get with a spacecraft!
So for the line that gave my generation the first leg prints, with Major Kartofski, LEGO doesn’t give too much diversity among the Spyrius crew (outside of the Big One).
Enter the Spyrius-verse, anyone?
As a huge fan of Spyrius, I’m very happy to have this little set back in the collection.
More LEGO retro spaceships and rovers to be featured soon!

Hello! This is my entry for LegoIdeas challenge "A Twist of Nostalgia!" month ago.
It can be separated and combined into small spaceship (second photo).
This version is built from only existing bricks, and almost all are from newest BDP palette in Studio.

With the completion of the main gun, modeling is done! Lots of spots that still need tweaking but now it's time to focus on material assignments, etc.
