There is a colour version of this image but I thought some black and white might have more of an impact with the dark shadows and the bright early autumn light.

The Cathedral of Mérida (City Knights), has within a very particular beauty characteristic of the classical churches, predominantly structural elements.
It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mérida. It was built from 1803 with various modifications until 1960. It has numerous stained glass and religious objects of great historical value.
It was built near the Plaza Bolivar in Merida and the Archbishop's Palace and Museum Arquidiósesano.

Esse é o novo cabelinho da Chanti!
Foi a wig de cor mais próxima que eu encontrei da cor original dela, é quase do mesmo tom, um tiquinho mais acinzentada! E só tinha nesse modelo liso.
Acabei comprando pq a fibra é resistente ao calor, então pensei: vou fazer cachos com o babyliss e problema resolvido! Mas não foi bem assim... Os cachos não pegam no cabelinho dela! Fiz um teste de mecha e o babyliss não pegou de jeito nenhum!!! T^T
Vai ter que ficar com os cabelos lisos mesmo. Ou então eu retorno para a wig original, que vou tentar hidratar e arrumar o frizz dos cachinhos. Vai me dar muito trabalho!
Talvez eu perca a paciência e compre logo uma wig branca de vez, com cachos largos nas pontas.
Ela está LINDA assim, mas perdeu o ar de menininha, está mais mulher! Até que combinou com a nova fase dela, em que completa 18 anos.

Here's a build I've been waiting to photograph for ages! It's a 'classical' steampunk city diorama, with an open back and full interior. I also lit it up using Lightailing lights!
It can also split into 2 parts, and a section comes off to reveal another hidden interior.
I have been flooding my stream with portraits recently. Practicing with my new lens, and going for the close up. Next week -it'll be landscapes ;-)

After meeting Beatrice for the first time in real life, Dante wrote in La Vita Nuova (The New Life): "Ecce Deus fortior me, qui veniens dominabitur mihi" ("Behold, a deity stronger than I; who coming, shall rule over me.") Then he made Beatrice the star of The Inferno and The Divine Comedy!
Well, I can see why, as I got to shoot Beatrice "Bice" di Folco Portinari the Italian Goddess! The goddess was from Italy and read Dante in Italian!

Nikon D800 Photos of a Pretty Swimsuit Bikini Model Goddess in Modeling Gold 45 Revolver Gold'N'Virtue Swimsuits & Lingerie with the famous golden gun! She had pretty brown-grey-hazel eyes--the colors kept changing! The Colt 45 Revolver comes directly form Clint Eastwood's/Sergio Leone's Fistful of Dollars--my favorite Western--heck my favorite all-time film, exalting the classical, archetypal themes I seek in all my photography! The goddess is standing in front of the 45surf summer beach house!
She was tall, thin, pretty, and fit with gorgeous bown / hazel eyes and long, long legs! Shot with the Nikon D800 and my favorite workhorse lens the very sharp Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S Nikkor Zoom Lens. A slight change of pace for all my flickr fans!

Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!
May the Hero's Journey Mythology Goddess inspire you (as they have inspired me!) along your own artistic journey! Love, love, love the 70-200mm F/2.8 Lens! Holding it up all day, alongside the Sony NEX 6 with the 50mm F/1.8 lens for cool video bokeh which I have mounted under the Nikon D800E camera, is quite the workout! My shoulders have gotten bigger after so many days with six hour shoots in the AM and 3 hour shoots in the PM holding that rig up :). Plus I have to carry all the gear, books, and clothes a few hundred yards up and down the steep cliffs. I count my photography days as two workout days. :) But I love it! Every day presents a puzzle--how to figure out the light, and every model presents a mystery to be unlocked--what are her best angles/poses/actions? Nothing beats the challenge of capturing the natural beauty of a day out there, when the light's dynamic range can change by a factor of ten in a few minutes as the mist burns away to reveal the sun, and then the wind whips up and a fog rolls on in, making it seem like a windy December dusk in July. One must always be mindful of tide, times, and temperatures and work quickly before the cameras get too hot in the sun, or the model gets too cold in the wind, as the tide and rogue waves reach out to grab your equipment/props/clothes and claim them for Poseidon, the god of the sea . Beach photography/video is just like surfing, with the conditions always changing and every wave a bit different. Studio photography is like riding an exercise bike set at level 1 in a gym in front of a TV. And shooting stills and video @ the same time is like Jimmy Page or Slash improvising on his double-necked guitar.
I'm working on a book called "Lone Cowboy Photography: A Humble Hero's Journey into the Art of Photography" about how to shoot it all on your own--stills and video for sports, portraits, and landscapes--with no assistants nor teams. Just you and the goddesses, the heroic athletes, the majestic, epic landscapes, and a copy of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey to teach you of the poetry of epic, heroic beauty. You gotta be ready, son--you gotta be ready for quick-draw showdowns at sunrise and sunset, during the magic hours and in the harsh light at high noon. Every shoot is over the second you finish packing your bags for the day with all your batteries, backup cameras, freshly-cleaned lenses, washed and folded clothes and hoodies, and props and polarizer filters. Every shoot ends the second the prep is over, and the fun, and art, and life of the live performance begins. :) "Every fighter has a plan," said boxing great Mike Tyson, "Until they get hit."

Just as my landscapes oft employ the golden rectangle and fibonacci spiral in composition, all the bikinis, shirts, and lingerie designs are made with the golden section and gold number Phi (1.618) in mind! The golden grids, rectangles, pentagons, and spirals make a far better system for compositions than does the rule of thirds! And too, the golden mean and divine proportion are found in every model--in her pretty face and in the divine proportions of the 45surf goddess's heavenly body! I'm working on a book on all this beautitful craziness in fine art landscapes and models called The Golden Hero's Odyssey, which also ties it to my physics theory Dynamic Dimenions theory (dx4/dt=ic). :)

What was once common on the CSX a YN2 C40-8 leading trains is becoming more uncommon as the C40-8s have been getting painted into the YN3 and YN3b paint scheme or as rumor has it getting stored soon.
As 2016 began JB and PS and myself all headed out for a road trip to target CPLs and other signals in Northwest Ohio. This was the first train of that trip that we were able to shoot. CSX train Q231 rolls south down the Ex B&O line through Botkins, Ohio on the first day of January 2016.
