Frontage of a classical styled building that I am currently working on. Inspired by the Royal Banqueting House in Whitehall, the model is around half scale for OO. The large proportions of the real building mean that it will be able to be used alongside standard OO models.
A mixture of simplistic 3D card work and photographic texture will hopefully enable the eye to read this as a suitably impressive edifice.
With access limited to plane or boat, the tiny but scenic Alaskan town of Gustavus really has little need for more than one gas station —let alone a fully modern one. This is the one and only station in town and these pumps are as operable as the day they were first used decade ago.

I am at a loss as to where this image of a Georgian era neo-classical portico was made.
It is however, somewhere in northern Tasmania!
From the film archive, Circa 1995. The slightly blue tint is the colour of the film itself. Quite liked the effect so didn't run a bnw layer in the edit.
