The Levy House, at 111-121 California Ave. in Reno, Nevada, is a historic Classical Revival-style house that was built in 1906. It was home of William Levy, a merchant and mining businessman.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, qualifying as a high-quality example of the Classical Revival style, for its association with Levy, and as a significant component of local history.
The building was moved c. 1940, turning it 90 degrees and repositioning it on the lot.
Whether by chance or design, these three adjacent tombs in Forest Hills Cemetery illustrate the three styles of classical pillars.

i can't remember for the life of me what's in a classic opera torte, but here's one i made. the ganache on top could have been less bubbly, but it sure was shiny. the upper right corner got bashed in when a certain person in my class pushed a kitchenaid bowl into it.

The Palace of Versailles was created at the instruction of Louis XIV, and was the centre of French government and power from 1682, when Louis XIV moved from Paris, until Louis XVI and the royal family was forced to return to the capital in 1789.
The chateau is built around a hunting lodge established by by Louis XIII, and was created in four phases: 1664–68, 1669–72, 1678–84 and 1699–1710, by the architects Le Vau, Le Nôtre, and Le Brun.
