Historic 1915 Taylor County Courthouse in Abilene, Texas. The Classical Revival style courthouse was replaced by the 1971 county courthouse. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 (NRHP No. 92000225). It was also designated as a State Antiquities Landmark in 2000.

The Greco-Roman city of Jerash (ancient Gerasa) is one of the most important and best preserved Classical sites in the Near East. The city's major buildings and monuments are in good condition and the huge extent of the site is impressive. Restoration and reconstruction of important elements has continued throughout the 20th century and today the ancient ruined city sits immediately alongside the thriving modern town of Jerash.
The sprawling site is dominated by it's more significant remains, which include the seemingly numerous columns of the main colonnaded street and oval forum, along with two fine amphitheatres, several temples and imposing triumphal arches.

One of the finest buildings in Ephesus is the charming Temple of Hadrian, a small structure with an arched facade.
Ephesus is justly famed as one of the finest ancient Roman sites anywhere. The ruins of the city are extensive with many impressive monuments to amaze the visitor (that have often been partially reassembled to give an indication of their former glory and context).
Unfortunately the fame and popularity of the site means that, unlike most of the classical sites we visited elsewhere, it is constantly crowded with tourists. However the city has always attracted visitors, and among those who spent time here centuries ago were St Paul and St John (and possibly Mary herself if one believes in the authenticity of her nearby residence).

The Sibelius Monument (Finnish: Sibelius-monumentti) is dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865–1957). The monument is located at the Sibelius Park (Finnish: Sibeliuspuisto) in the district of Töölö in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland.
The monument was designed by Eila Hiltunen and unveiled on September 7, 1967. Originally it sparked a lively debate about the merits and flaws of abstract art, for which reason an effigy of Sibelius was included in the work. It consists of series of more than 600 hollow steel pipes welded together in a wave-like pattern. The purpose of the artist was to capture the essence of the music of Sibelius. The monument weighs 24 tonnes (24 long tons; 26 short tons) and measures 8.5 × 10.5 × 6.5 metres.

Born in a family of well known musicians of this gharana, Arshad is the grandson of Sarangi maestro, Padmashree Ustad Shakoor Khan. He undergoes rigorous traning from his maternal uncle, Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan, respected guru at the Academy, and also from Mashkoorji’s younger brother, Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan.

The classical gardens in Suzhou were added to the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1997 and 2000. Suzhou is often dubbed the "Venice of the East" or "Venice of China".

800 feet above the town of Monmouth, the Neo-classical Naval Temple is a celebration of British naval supremacy. There are 16 plaques bearing the names of victorious admirals and the locations of their triumphs. The figure of Britannia and the semi-circular painting of the Union flag dominating those of France, Spain and the Netherlands add a jingoistic note. It was built in 1800 to commemorate the Battle of the Nile. Grade II listed.
