After having 2hrs to kill at Bewdley, we waited to take D3022 & 12099 back to Kidderminster on Sunday afternoon.
Cameraphone shots of stuff from when I was driving / secondmanning (if that's a word) on the Severn Valley Railway at the 2009 diesel gala. Shots taken with Samsung Jet S8000.
Preserved former British Railways Class 11 diesel-electric shunter 12082, now numbered 12049, was photographed at the Mid Hants Railway’s Ropley Works on 7 September 2019. The locomotive was built at Derby Works in 1950. It was withdrawn from service by British Rail in 1971 and subsequently operated for the National Coal Board and the Harry Needle Railway Company before passing to the Mid Hants Railway in 2010, replacing the original 12049 which was irreparably damaged by fire.

I don't think I have ever come away from Ropley, Mid Hants Railway without something to add to my photographs. I was pretty pleased with this shot of a Merlo Panoramic P32.6 Plus used, presumably, for moving coal and BR Class 11 0-6-0 shunter 12082 restored to its original number after a period as 12049 which was destroyed in a fire.
