Built circa 1970, this Modern International-style building was built for the congregation of the Charleston Boulevard Seventh-day Adventist Church. The building its clad in red brick with an A-frame central sanctuary flanked by two low wings, large window walls on the ends of the gabled A-frame roof, wooden roof beams at the A-frame, a geometric metal and wood canopy on the front facade, and narrow ribbon windows on the one-story wings. The building is a noncontributing structure in the Luna Park Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, despite being a locally significant example of Modern architecture from the mid-20th Century. The building remains in use as the home of the Charleston Boulevard Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Built in 1896, this 17-story Chicago School-style skyscraper was designed by Henry Ives Cobb for the Chemical National Bank. The building's first and second floor facades were manufactured by the The Christopher & Simpson Architectural Iron and Foundry Company, while the Terra Cotta cladding on the upper portion of the building was manufactured by the Winkle Terra Cotta Company. The building was expanded in 1902 with a seamless addition designed by Mauran, Russell and Garden. The building features a base called in stamped metal panels with floral motifs, forming decorated spandrels, pilasters, and brackets, with Chicago windows on the second floor, and multiple storefronts on the ground floor. Above the base, the building is clad in red brick with terra cotta trim, one-over-one windows, oriel windows, belt coursing, a cornice with modillions and dentils, and arched windows on the 17th floor. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, and has sat vacant for a little over a decade, with several proposals to turn the building into apartments and an expansion of the Hotel St. Louis next door being floated during that time.
Although most Japanese now wear Western style clothes, it is not unusual to find a kimono-clad woman in the street.

One of the builidings of the University of Toronto. Part of Victoria College, I think. I'm not sure.
The clad reverse was designed by Richard Masters and sculpted by Joseph Menna. This design completes the phrase from the obverse “I pledge allegiance to the flag… of the United States of America.” The design depicts an American Flag waving atop a high flagpole as seen from the children’s point-of-view from the ground below. The American Legion’s emblem is featured just above the flag. Additional inscriptions are "E PLURIBUS UNUM and "HALF DOLLAR."
