Loved the Jack Duckworth character - and the famous cladding that Vera added as she wanted the house to stand out.

Later Vera renamed the house to be called 'The Old Rectory' to continue the one upmanship against the neighbours.

Piper jumped the gun on this cute little cangaway dress. It's not Spring out yet & it's a bit cold. BUT..... someone bought it from us & we are going to miss it. Just one more photo of it.

Piper should also be arriving to her new daddy today or tomorrow.

My brother's camera is broken - so I was lucky enough to head over to his apartment and do some food photography (and enjoy some really excellent food). He made pasta from scratch as well as a tomato, parsley, garlic sauce which was perfectly balanced and really flavorful. He also made a very unusual dish out of cranberry juice, cocoa butter, ginger and orange juice. Check out the blog for details, but the cranberry juice is completely contained in a shell of cocoa butter spiced with ginger and is only liberated after you've put it in your mouth - giving you a time-released flavor. Really cool stuff.

I swear, nothing bakes cookies like the all-clad non-stick cookie sheet.

This Phillips 66 shows signs of being an old, rectangular, white, metal clad building, far outdating the gull-wing design of the sixties.

By the time I discovered it, the appearance was already what we see here. And service bays had given way to convenience store.

It is the first place I ever had a "Strawberry Shortcake" ice cream bar. It closed only recently.

Altro Showroom in London

The Cairo was a Union "iron clad" gunboat which sunk in the Yazoo River during the Civil War. It has been raised and restored, and placed in the military park. There are numerous artifacts which were found aboard and are now on exhibit in the museum.
