Circulations in the Tenderloin (Working Title), September 2013
Acrylic polymer and enamel spray paint on primed brick and cinderblock, original signage.
Corner of Larkin & Post in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco, CA.
The Patek-Ecklon type and the crown logo are the original buildings signage painted in the mid 40's. I wanted to make sure I respected the original signage, even though the business is defunct, it's still a bit of a landmark ghost sign.
Many thanks to Poisia, Graffuturism, Derek Chamberlain, Brock & Justin at White Walls Gallery and Michael Covington for their helping hands in this piece
Interesting Note* This particular wall and ghost signage has even been painted by Jessica Hess.

Sounds like THIS.
Cities are alive. The live and they die. The grow, they breath, they have family and produce offspring. The highways and freeways then become veins and arteries. In fact, you even hear major roads often referred to as arteries. That then makes all of us blood cells. Significant and insignificant all at the same time. Unique, yet faceless amongst the crowd. All our cares, dreams, hopes, and concerns joined together in the cacophony of those voiced by everyone else, all the while being one small piece of a much, much larger puzzle.
Vojin Bakić's three meter-high 'Circulation in Space II' (1974), a sculpture on the Rhine Promenade by the corner of City Hall; it's dusk and the end of my stroll
To all who visit and view, and – especially – express support and satisfaction: you are much appreciated!

Album Description – Mainz, Germany – 2016APR07
Super layover, transatlantic round trip, crew, and weather!
After Dori and Siggi drove me back to the crew hotel from our afternoon excursion to Idstein, I strolled the Rhine Promenade a couple hours, to the rail bridge and back, enjoying the river walk and sunset colors. April 7 was one magnificent day in Germany!
Plus, of course work the flights = ½ day outbound, ½ day inbound; leaving late afternoon April 6, home early afternoon April 8, our initial takeoff 1624, return touchdown 1259 = 44 hours 35 minutes, back home 48 hours from when I walked out the door!
The best of 524 photos from this 1-day layover are a 3-album set:
• Mainz, Germany – 2016APR07
• Idstein, Germany – 2016APR07
• Idstein Limes Tower, Germany – 2016APR07
Hope you enjoy my favorite 20% of today's 125 Mainz photos!

Managed to pull myself out of bed for sunrise that morning, which was worth it since the light was good the entire day - an anomaly during the monsoon season in Singapore indeed.

The idea for this model came by folding a surveillance camera with his creator, Alexis Degrugillier. I wondered what else could be done with the technique he used to obtain the camera lens and the idea of a traffic light came to me. This model is not very complicated compared to my other models. Obviously, it's probably the worst traffic light, since all the lights are red!
