Set Description: The polar vortex has made its return to Chicago, once again turning the area into Chiberia. While not quite as cold as the last time this arctic air mass visited, it was cold enough (and pretty enough) for some cool photos along the Chicago River

Hit up my rooftop for a beautiful sunset. I experimented with some massive telephoto panoramas, and caught fireworks too!

This is a 4-frame panorama created from the 83rd floor of Trump Tower. Truth be told, I'm not even sure how Photoshop managed to stitch this. The left two frames, and right two frames were taken from different spots in the unit and at different angles/heights. Despite the perspective distortion, and imperfections, I'm quite happy with the final result - especially considering i was shooting through from shallow angles through glass. The reflections on the right hand side of the frame are the city light reflections off of the stainless steel fin that runs up the entire length of the building.
