I made it onto The Ledge. Took a few minutes, but I was A-OK...

Set Description: I made the most out of an otherwise "blah" morning while up at the Willis Tower Skydeck. It's a place I haven't been to since before I became serious about photography and one in which I vow to return more often when the weather is much more interesting...

A St. Patrick's Day sunset as seen from the Nichols Bridgeway at the Art Institute of Chicago.

I was hoping to catch the sun setting at the horizon, but a low bank of clouds moved in just in time to block the setting sun.

Just a cool, moody blue, shot of the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium park

Set Description: On Tuesday, Chicago was treated to it's largest snowstorm since the Groundhog Day blizzard of 2011.

I bundled up and went out into the elements for a few hours at night to photograph the action on and around Michigan Avenue.

While the temperature was somewhat comfortable, the shooting conditions were brutal. Visibility was low and working the camera in torrential snow has it's challenges. Despite the difficulties I managed to get some cool shots.

Now that we got a snowstorm out of the way, bring on the spring thunderstorms!
